Opening an image
I clicked ‘Open’ on the Photoshop home screen and selected my image.
Cropping an image
In the tool bar on the left hand side, I selected this icon (crop tool).
I selected ‘Original Ratio’ which crops to the image’s original ratio.
I then chose the area I wanted to crop and clicked enter.
Resizing an image
I went to Image > Image Resize
Which brought up this window.
I then resized the image to 1000 pixels wide.
Adjusting an image
On the right hand side of the screen (above the layers) I clicked on ‘Adjustments’ which allowed me to edit brightness, contrast, saturation etc.
I edited the colour balance to bring out some of the blue colours.
And altered the brightness and contrast to lift the image.
Saving an image
